About I Am Texas Traveling Exhibition

I Am Texas is a 7-foot-tall book that is set to break the Guinness World Record for the largest published book in the world. This book has 1,000 stories, poems and artwork written by kids in the 3rd-12th grade all about Texas. 72 school districts and thousands of students across the state of Texas and beyond participated in the contest to be published in this record breaking big-book and subsequent published books.

This program has given students a chance to be a part of something BIG! When iWRITE came together with The Bryan (Texas History) Museum, we were able to combine both non-profits’ missions – build student confidence through writing about your Texas story.
